The Dempster Trust is immensely proud to have received the Certificate of Recognition from Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux.
The Certificate was awarded for The Dempster Trust’s outstanding support towards the community and for the hard work, commitment and selfless dedication of the Trustees during the pandemic.
The Certificate was presented to The Trustees at a short ceremony by Deputy Lieutenant Dr Helen Bowcock OBE DL at Farnham Town Council offices on 1st September 2021. The Dempster Trust Trustees present were Peter Jeans, Paul Whitlock, Cathryn Trezise, Alan Hunt and Chairman Jon Curtis. Trustees Keith Newman and George Alford were unable to be present.
Also present were The Mayor of Farnham, Alan Earwaker and The Town Clerk, Iain Lynch.
The Dempster Trust was established in 1908 to help those in need in Farnham. It has continued to deliver on its original principles, giving one-off grants for a range of different reasons to those living in and around Farnham.
